SPEAKING

After a long and demanding process of rebuilding my life and rediscovering my own identity, I found out that it wasn't just me who felt stuck in life, who lacked self-confidence, who had a hard time being me.
That's why I now share thought-provoking and inspiring stories and reflections about the difficult road back. I am talking about the joy and freedom I felt when I understood that I am good enough as I am.
I learned that the past doesn't have to define us. It's never too late to start over.

From Trapped to Free

My way out of the shadows of a cult

Why do we continue in a life where we're not thriving?

Why is it so difficult to break free?

Håvard takes you on his journey, from 40 years as a member of a notorious sect to the joyful man he is today.

After finally breaking away from the sect, it would take Håvard many years before he realized and could admit to the extent of manipulation he had been subjected to, and before he could begin the journey back to himself.

In this inspiring and thought-provoking talk, Håvard openly discusses difficult topics such as shame and fear, and addresses current issues that hold many of us back from living life to the fullest.

Find Your Voice

with courage and self assurance

In a world where more emphasis is placed on 'likes', being liked, and accepted by others, it can be easy to lose oneself. We lose the confidence to be authentic, and the world around us misses out on the amazing person we truly are.

It's frustrating. In this talk, Håvard shows you that it's not as difficult as you think. You don't need to change who you are. It's not necessary to spend the rest of your life outside your comfort zone. You just need to see yourself and what we want from a new perspective.

Håvard talks about how, after 40 years in a closed sect, he found confidence and courage to find himself and share his voice, and how you can do the same.

For companies and organizations

Employees and managers in companies and members of associations all greatly benefit from more self-confidence and a more positive self-image.

When we talk about and find solutions to feeling left out, the community is strengthened, and the workplace or association becomes a more pleasant place to be.

With more courage and zest for life, your whole life becomes more balanced, not just at work.

For schools

When I was at school, I was bullied. I felt alone and had no friends. That's why I was such easy prey for the cult.

My story shows the terrible results bullying can have, and I also emphasize what each of us can do to help others feel accepted and included.

I also talk about how students can have more self-confidence and a more positive self-image so that they don't feel they need to compromise who they are in order to be liked by others.
