After a long and demanding process of rebuilding my life and rediscovering my own identity, I found out that it wasn't just me who felt stuck in life, who lacked self-confidence, who had a hard time being me.
That's why I now share thought-provoking and inspiring stories and reflections about the difficult road back. I am talking about the joy and freedom I felt when I understood that I am good enough as I am.
I learned that the past doesn't have to define us. It's never too late to start over.

For companies and organizations
Employees and managers in companies and members of associations all greatly benefit from more self-confidence and a more positive self-image.
When we talk about and find solutions to feeling left out, the community is strengthened, and the workplace or association becomes a more pleasant place to be.
With more courage and zest for life, your whole life becomes more balanced, not just at work.
When I was at school, I was bullied. I felt alone and had no friends. That's why I was such easy prey for the cult.
My story shows the terrible results bullying can have, and I also emphasize what each of us can do to help others feel accepted and included.
I also talk about how students can have more self-confidence and a more positive self-image so that they don't feel they need to compromise who they are in order to be liked by others.
From Trapped to Free
Finding, accepting, and loving yourself
In From Trapped to Free, Håvard takes you on his journey, from 40 years as a member of a notorious sect to the happy-go-lucky man he is now. He talks about difficult topics such as shame and fear, and gives answers to current questions such as "Why do we continue in a life we don't enjoy?" and "Why is it so hard to break free?"
Personutvikling eller personutfoldelse
Et nytt perspektiv kan forandre alt.
Have you ever tried to change an old habit, achieve a new goal, or breathe life into your childhood dream, without success. It's frustrating. In this lecture, Håvard shows you that it is not as difficult as you think. Self-help and personal development gurus promise that they have the key to your happiness and success.
But it is not always true that we get better from personal development. We don't need to change. We don't have to live outside our comfort zone. We have to see ourselves and what we want from a new perspective.
Find Your Voice
with courage and self assurance
Today, more and more emphasis is placed on 'likes', being liked and accepted by others. It has its consequences. Bronnie Ware who worked for many years with people who were dying said that what most people wanted most was not better health, but that they had had the courage to live a life that was true to themselves, not the life that others expected of them . In this inspiring lecture, Håvard talks about how he found self-confidence and the courage to find and share his voice, and how you can do the same.
